The album cover was quickly reissued with the celebrity likenesses blotted out along with a curt insert that read “Pardon Our Appearance–Cover Under Construction”. This piece is both a deliberate nod to the album’s irreverent nature and a glimpse into the fascinating history of the album cover. This piece is both a deliberate nod to the album’s irreverent nature and a glimpse into the fascinating history of the album cover.
